Saro-Gem was founded in Switzerland in 1914 by a small group of people driven by a passion for watches.  Started by watch lovers, for watch lovers, our goal has consistently been to make exciting and eye-catching timepieces that blend inventive design and innovative materials with the highest levels of Swiss craftsmanship. 

We are not a large company with a large marketing budget.  We do not aspire to sponsor polo matches or round-the-world yacht races.  We make watches.    

Unlike some luxury jewellery brands who manufacturer a million units per annum, we only make one thousand of our timepieces every year.  Every Saro-Gem watch is therefore extremely rare.  Furthermore, each of our watches is created in accordance with the unique requirements of the customer.

We believe that there is nothing more enjoyable than knowing a product has been made just for you.  From a bespoke tailored suit to your child’s first drawing at nursery school, true satisfaction stems from uniqueness.  We therefore work with our customers to design and customise their timepiece, selecting from a range of design and finish options that use only the highest quality precious metals and gemstones.  From the case and the dial to the bezel, the band holder and the bracelet, over one thousand permutations allow us to cater for every taste, whim and budget.
